  • I’ve been decluttering my home and came across this lion pillow I created when I was in Junior high. I could not throw him away no matter how pilled and grungy he is. I dug deep into why it was so hard to let him go. I came to realize that this pillow represents a work that was entirely of my creation. From the idea to make a winking lion to making the pattern and selecting the yarn and fabric – To the execution of the needlepoint and seeing the pillow. I decided to clean up the face and frame the needlepoint to preserve my work and be a reminder of my creative abilities

  • Did an alcohol wash and wiped out where lights would go. Siding too light
    Warmed up the siding-a little too orange.
    Did not like working with paper, but it’s all I had.
